Today afternoon, we watched the theatrical production of Lualhati Bautista’s book ‘Desaparesidos’ at the Doreen Fernandez Blackbox, Areté, Ateneo de Manila University. It was an emotional play based on a story of the cruelty and inhumane age that occured during the Marcos’ Martial Law Years (1972-1986), and even the aftermath of those years with testimonies from the victims of that regime.
